Huron Application for Employment
Huron Components builds wood-based wall components and truss components for multi-family structures throughout the Denver metro area. We take pride in our state-of-the-art equipment and our unique approach to commercial framing with a focus on continual improvement.
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team on a long term
basis in our Plant located in Littleton, CO.
This is an entry-level position that starts at $19+/hour based on experience. Benefits include health insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision eligible after 60 days), Paid Sick and Personal Time Off (Accrued), Holidays, and Paid Safety Training.
Hours of Work:
- Monday-Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Must be willing to work any required overtime and weekends as needed to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. Single job location, no travel required to jobsites.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Construct wall or floor assemblies
- Accurately follow plans/instructions
- Load and unload materials using equipment or manually
- Ability to lift/carry heavy pieces of materials or structures
- Communicate with appropriate team members and management
- General labor including but not limited to using a hand tools, nail guns, saws and other basic tools
- Work around active machinery
- Maintain a clean work area
- Comply with all Huron Components safety rules to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the US
- Be at least 18 years old
- Pass background check
- Basic math skills and general computer skills
- Highly motivated and dependable
- Committed to product quality and teamwork
- Ability to receive direction and work with others as a team
- Prior wall panel and/or floor truss assembly experience preferred, but not required
- Any job-related certifications are a plus (OSHA training, first aid, etc.)
